“The NUEL was founded in 2010 to help students access the many opportunities that esports provides, and today is a major milestone. For the first time, UK students will be able to compete against other universities in MTGA, broadcast live every week on Twitch, with an unprecedented set of prizes on offer. It’s really exciting to be a part of,” said Josh Williams, founder and Managing Director of The NUEL.

Teams of 3 will battle each week in head-to-head matches. Each series is comprised of 3x best-of-3 series. Each player on a team will play against another player on the opposing team in a best of 3 series. The team that has the most players win their best of 3 is the winning team of the series.
